Bridge Work (BW) is a Midwestern-based arts initiative focused on mentoring emerging artists in developing a responsible studio practice, broadening the scope of their connections and experiences, and navigating the nuances of the contemporary art world. The program also aims to forge a more interconnected arts community throughout the region by facilitating meaningful artistic exchanges and dialogs among artists and art-oriented leaders and organizations. This is achieved, in part, through BW’s annual exhibition series, which helps generate the public exposure necessary for up-and-coming artists to successfully network and establish beneficial relationships within the larger arts community.
